Andy McLeod, executive director of Foothills Forum, has held positions with nonprofit groups and public institutions including director of the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management; deputy secretary of the California National Resources Agency; press secretary to two U.S. Senators; and executive director of Goodwood Museum and Gardens.

He is a member of the boards of directors of Arlington Independent Media, the Heurich House Museum, and the Northern Virginia Conservation Trust.
